In one of our last articles, namely this one, Bob showed us how to make our WordPress sites more secure.  In that post he discussed choosing a username that is not “admin” or some combination of your name.  Well, we looked at our own accounts, and both Bob and I were guilty of violating that rule on some sites we each own.  Maybe you are as well.

The Remodel

WordPress is currently under a “brute force” hacker attack

Being the most popular blogging platform on the internet (about 22% of all blogs run on WordPress) has its perks…but it has its downside as well.Woman trying to figure out the right security solutions doe her WordPress sites WordPress sites worldwide are currently being attacked by hackers.  This is a worldwide attack on WordPress, involving almost every
web host that hosts a WordPress site.  It is not specific to any hosting company or country. , the company that HayleStorm Interactive recommends (and uses for all of its own websites)had a post on their blog on April 11.  Discussing this attack.  From that post is:
